BigRigg Challenge : Week, um, 12 maybe?

No video again this week (too much of a hurry to get ready for work this morning), but the results were pretty good.  It has been a few weeks since I last weighed myself, but since that weigh-in, I have dropped another pound.  Not too much, but it is a loss, and that is what counts.  I hurt my foot last week which has resulted in me not exercising one bit this week, so that being said, I am very pleased with the loss.  Here are the stats:

  • Initial Weight: 241.4 lbs
  • Weight after this week’s weigh-in: 247.8 lbs
  • Last week’s +/- :  -1 lb
  • Total lost:  GAINED 6.4 lbs
  • Conan O’Brien LIVE

In case you have not heard yet, Conan O'Brien is going on a 30-city tour.  The show, aptly named "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour", is supposedly going to be "a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence".  As a Conan fan, I think it is awesome that he is doing something like this so his fans can still see him until his next television venture begins.

Prices seem to range from around $50-$100 for tickets, which is a little out of my ballpark, but still pretty decent.  Anyone going?

    Heinz Reinvents the Ketchup Packet

I don’t know about you, but whenever I go to Chick Fil A, my favorite fast-food dining establishment, I tend to go a little overboard with the ketchup.  I usually grab a handful, open them up 3-at-a-time, and squeeze a giant blob of ketchup onto my tray somewhere.  The problem comes when you don’t have a place for the ketchup to go.  Maybe there is no tray, or you have ordered your food to-go.

Thankfully, Heinz has created a new kind of a ketchup packet.  This new packet, called “Dip & Squeeze” not only hold three times as much ketchup as a regular packet, but it has 2 ways of being used:

The so-called Heinz Dip & Squeeze package can be used two ways: either peel back the lid for dipping, or tear off the tip and squeeze with ease

They are testing these packets out at various restaurants across the country.  I have not seen them yet, but I hope I do!
